In this three parter, Marcy & Scottie try to keep on track in the light of the Orlando tragedy. and discover that the dichotomy of Scottie's chapter about coming out to Marcy's brother is actually the perfect lens through which to explore the gals' deep sense of loss and betrayal that permeates the LGBTQ community.
Part 1 - "At a loss for words..."
The gals struggle to make sense of the senseless.... trying to keep it on light, laughter & love, As they work it out, they both realize that hope for the future, and in their case that future is next week, when they head to Seattle for Pride, on the divine booster rocket called "Advocacy."
Part 2 - But it is about her book...
Scottie finally gets to the reading portion of the show, and catches us up on her "baby steps" process of coming out.... this time to family - namely Marcy's big brother, who needs this, ahem, information about Scottie, cuz he's coming to live with them.
Part 3 - "Brought to you by the letter "T"...
Scottie finally figures out why there's a T in LGBT. And discovers what the Gals hope is what everyone will take away from this tragedy and this community. Marcy brings it all home once again - the bright light in this dar time is that we've never before heard so many people talk about love.
